Addy stuck her tongue out at Riley, "What are teachers teaching kids these days? They're obviously leaving out all the important stuff like the history of ice cream and what makes it so much better than a milkshake!" When Riley brought up the point that a milkshake contained ice cream, Addison fell silent. He ruined her whole argument with one sentence! "Ice cream is still better." Addy said, a slight pout forming on her lips. "I've known you forever Riley, you're pretty much family, so of course I'm going to act normal. When I've known someone else for that long I'll probably act normal with them too." She said, watching as he went and ordered another milkshake.
"Extremely!" Addy said happily when Riley placed the new milkshake on the table. Taking a sip, Addison almost spit it right back out when Riley said even he had trouble with confidence. "But you make it look so easy! You don't seem like the type of person who would have trouble with self confidence, I'm that type of person and you definitely aren't me!" She said. The way she was speaking sounded more like she was trying to make sense of things in her head than having an actual conversation. "I know you'd fight for me Riley, but you aren't always going to be with me."

Riley shook his head at her “ They don’t have a class purely dedicated to ice cream” He told her with a pout realizing how awesome of a class that would be. Riley smiled “ Seriously though if they ever invent a class about ice cream we’re so signing up” He told her getting really excited about the idea now all that was left was for the class to be invented. Riley placed his hand on his chin “ Ok I’ll make you a deal when and if a guy asks you out you tell him he has to go through me first I’ll do a screening like the FBI, give you an ok or not then I’ll find a date so we can double, sound like a good deal?” Riley asked her. He figured if he was around she would be more relaxed and calm. He shrugged his shoulders “ I’m a pretty good actor if I do say so myself, besides if I wasn’t around to be confident there wouldn’t be much of a hope for you” He told her shrugging his shoulders.
“ And yes I will always be here for you even when I’m dead because I’ll take you with me” He said leaning over to give her a hug.

Addy nodded in agreement with a smile on her face. If and when a class dedicated to ice cream was made, she would be one of the first people to sign up. Just thinking about it made her happy, everyday she could have ice cream during class, but then she'd have to start working out because of all the ice cream. Why must there be pros and cons for everything? An ice cream class was starting to look mighty fine at the moment.
"Okay Riley, you can be m official FBI bodyguard dude. So are you going to follow me around in a black suit with the sunglasses on and the funky little ear piece thingy?" she asked, curious, but serious at the same time. "If we double, you aren't aloud to embarrass me! No pictures of when we were little or any of the stories!" I feel like I should be saying that to my mother and not Riley, but if I don't, then who knows what he'd do! "Hey! Who says there would be no hope for me? Maybe if I didn't know you and you didn't know me, then I would be the confident one and you would be the shy one. For all I know, you could be sucking up all my confidence and using it for yourself!" Addison said, letting her imagination take over her mind.
"And who said I want to go with you when you die? Couldn't you just become Casper the friendly ghost?"

Riley nodded and laughed “ Uh duh that would be the only way I could look official” He told her with a grin. That was the main reason he mentioned the FBI thing that was the best part in his mind. Riley pouted damn it she figured him out. “ But that was going to be the best part” He said pouting putting his hair in front of his eyes and looking at her through them. He hoped she knew that he was joking all he was really going to do was joke with her so she would open up so the guy didn’t think she was really boring cause that’s not who she was.
She was an awesome, amazing girl that deserved to have somebody in her life that could love her romantically like Riley couldn’t. Riley rolled his eyes at her comment “ Oh yes I’m definitely a confidence stealer you caught me now please arrest me” He told her very monotone like. Riley stared at her “ Do you really want me haunting you when I die?” He asked her being surprised by that he would make her life miserable by randomly showing up at the most awkward times.

Addison shook her head with a slight smile on her face. It would be kind of cool to have her own FBI agent, but she would miss having Riley as Riley. "Fine, maybe some stories, but not the ones that make me sound like a crazy person!" Pretty much everything that Riley and Addy were involved in could get them sent to a mental hospital, but every once in a while they did something normal, like going out for ice cream. Getting ice cream would be considered a normal activity, but the conversation that entails might be a little on the crazy side.
Her eyes lit up when Riley admitted to being a confidence stealer. "Ha! I knew it! After all these years of thinking that you were my best friend, I learn that you were stealing from me!" She said dramatically, trying to hold in her giggles, but failing miserably. After sobering up a bit, Addy thought about his question of haunting her. "Well, it depends, would you be a friendly ghost, or a mean ghost? If you are a mean ghost then I don't want you haunting me. I've seen what the ghosts do on Scooby Doo and I'm with Shaggy and Scooby. I'd rather be a chicken with them than be haunted by a mean Riley!"

Riley shook his head “ Honestly I’m not that mean” He said giving her an angelic smile even though it probably didn’t come off as an innocent smile. Riley put his hands on his face like the kid from home alone “ Oh dear whatever shall I do now?” He asked her with a chuckle. Riley tapped his chin as he thought what kind of ghost he would be. “ I would be a friendly ghost well until you pissed me off then I’d be an angry and very mean ghost” He told her with a laugh. Damn it now he really wanted to watch Scooby Doo.
“ Thanks Addison, thanks a lot” He told her running his hand through his hair. “ I want to watch Scooby Doo now, mostly because that Fred guy is smoking hot if only he didn’t like Daphne and wanted me” He told her licking his lips and gave her a wink. It was official he hated Addison for making him fantasize about that Fred guy. Riley had issues with last names so of Couse he couldn’t remember what his last name was but that was besides the point.

Addison rolled her eyes at Riley's comment. "Uh-huh, sure, whatever you say bud." She replied. She knew Riley would never do anything mean to her, but she had o keep her bases covered. If she didn't he would probably take advantage of the opening she left. "Well it's a good thing that I never piss you off then! No going all mean evil ghost on my butt." Addy said with a smile. Very rarely she and Riley got into disagreements and even when they did, they never were big things that lead to grudges.
"You are very welcome!" When she was little, Addy loved to watch Scooby Doo. It didn't matter that she had seen every episode, she just loved watching Scooby and his friends, and even though she had grown up, she hadn't grown out of her love for Scooby Doo. Because of this, she had saved her money and bought all the seasons on dvd and would pop a disc in whenever she had free time. "We should watch Scooby Doo!" All talk of Riley being a ghost in the afterlife had left Addison's mind and was replaced with thoughts of Scooby Doo. She just loved the show so much and hated what all the revamps were like. None of them compared!

Riley nodded his head “ Alright well after this let’s go watch it, your house would be best” He told her with a grin. It’s not that he preferred her house over his it’s just that she would have the dvds at her house and instead of walking back to his house once they got them they could just stay there. It was just easier. Plus it felt like he was always in his house it felt like he never actually left the house unless it was for work. For him getting out of the house wasn’t fun enough he had to get out and actually do more things.
Riley finished up his milkshake before Addison could have anymore besides if they had wanted to go watch Scooby doo it would have to be quick before he lost his desire for it. Once his desire was gone for something it was hard to get it back “ Hurry up” Riley whined while pouting as he looked at her with sad eyes.

Addison grinned excitedly, she was to the point of almost bouncing up in down in her chair. “Yay, Scooby Dooby Doo!” She couldn’t wait to get back to her house and watch her favorite show with her best friend. Knowing that she’d soon be sitting in front of the TV watching Scooby and the gang, Addy drifted into her own little world and started to think about which episode she wanted to watch. There were just so many to choose from, but she thought she might want to watch one of the ones where the gang meets the globetrotters. Addy loved the episodes that had celebrity guests!
Watching Riley finish his milkshake, Addy frowned slightly, but then jumped out of her seat when Riley told her to hurry up. Quickly walking to her house, Addy grabbed the DVDs and popped one into the player before flopping down on the couch and taking up as much space as she possibly could. It was her couch and she wasn’t very good at sharing it. Grabbing the remote from between the cushions, Addy hit the play button and grinned like a little kid as the familiar theme song started to play and she sang along since she knew all the words.

Riley laughed as they headed over to her place and she laid down on almost the entire couch. Ha that won’t stop me he thought to himself and instead of moving her or even trying to move her he just sat on her hips. “ Addison your couch has gotten lumpy” He complained bouncing up and down a little bit. He got bored of this though so he just slid down to the carpet this was a lot more comfortable than her hips. Riley hadn’t watched Scooby Doo for what felt like years.
Now that he thought about it, it had been years. Instead of singing along with the theme song quietly he sang it very loud and way off key. But that’s just how he was he hated blending in he had to stand out. And there was Addison who loved to blend in rather than standing out. They definitely made an odd friendship but it worked.
Riley stood up and went to the fridge and threw a bottle of water at Addison and grabbed one for himself as well before sitting back down on the floor.

Addison smiled in victory when she saw Riley looking at her on the couch, but the smile was wiped off her face when he sat down on her hips. Addison let out a groan and tried to push Riley off. “Get off me, you’re heavy!” Addy said as she kicked her legs and tried to wiggle out from under him. Thankfully, Riley slid off the couch and onto the floor. Glaring at the back of Riley’s head, Addison grabbed one of the throw pillows from the couch and whacked him in with it. That’s what you get for sitting on me! Addy thought as she placed the pillow under her head and relaxed into the couch, laughing when Riley belted out the lyrics to the theme song.
“Ah!” Addy yelled, taking cover under her pillow when Riley threw a bottle of water at her. “That wasn’t very nice, you could have hit me in the head and then I could have gotten a concussion and then there would be no more Addison!” Addy said as she sat up on the couch and crossed her legs and arms. She added a pout to her lips to add to her little tantrum like behavior.

Riley pouted " How am I heavy I weigh less then a hundred pounds?" He asked her offended by the thought. Riley shrugged his shoulders " Id live" He said with a laugh and took a sip of his water. Riley looked at her " Um darling I invented and perfected the pout your going to have to do better then that to make me pity you" He told her with a shake of her head.

Addy shrugged, “You probably weigh more than me though. If you haven’t noticed, I could pass for a little kid still. Sometimes my parents even treat me like one because they are so nice!” Addison said, rolling her eyes. It bugged her when her parents treated her like a kid, but she didn’t mind still being able to order off the kids menu at some restaurants! She loved her chicken nuggets and wasn’t ready to give them up for grown up food.
Addy stood up on the couch and put her hands on her hips, cocking one out to the side. “My pout is perfect, thank you very much!” Addison told Riley while looking down at him. She loved being taller than him, it made her feel like a giant! When she was little she would always climb on top of things to get taller than people, but her mom would always get mad at her and make her get down. She said that Addy would end up hurting herself which did happen once. Addy had been climbing a tree and she fell when trying to go higher. She broke her arm, but that didn’t sway her from her love of climbing to get higher.

Riley laughed and picked up her arm. “ Holy look at that chicken bone” He joked with her. She wasn’t a super thin girl, she also wasn’t scary thin either but there would be nothing wrong if she ended up putting on a little bit more weight. He just hoped people didn’t think that she was anorexic or bulimic. Well it wasn’t that way with her she ate a fair amount it just didn’t make her gain weight. Riley laughed and her and shook his head “ Sorry baby no” He said being highly amused by her and the way she was acting.
Riley looked up at her since she was a little bit taller than him. Riley got an idea and ran into the shoe closet and grabbed a pair of high heels and put them on “ Ha bitch I’m taller then you now” Riley told her as he took real slow steps in order not to fall. It would be very tragic if he were to fall down in his efforts to up stage Addison.

When Riley grabbed her arm and started to joke about her weight, Addy tried to yank out of his grip, but failed. She only succeeded in making her arm red and slightly achy. “Psh, the world has never seen a better pout than my pout!” Addy said in a matter of fact tone. She knew hers was good and would hate to see someone who could pout better than her.
Watching as Riley ran to the closet, Addy laughed and almost lost her balance on the couch. Riley was walking around in high heels, but at a sluggish pace. Looking around quickly, Addy tried to think of a way to get higher than Riley and then her eyes landed on the back of the couch. Smiling, Addison climbed onto the back of the sofa and carefully stood up with her arms out to both sides. “Ha! I’m taller now!” Addy knew she was acting childish, but she wanted to win the contest that wasn’t really a contest. While standing on the couch, Addy was praying that her mother wouldn’t walk through the door. Despite being a teenager, her mother wouldn’t hesitate to send her to her room.
