“But you like drawing, so shouldn’t you be able to enjoy your down time? And, maybe you’re majoring in the wrong thing if you want to be able to draw during your downtime and not think about school.” Some of the students that had graduated before her had talked about majoring in things that they liked, but didn’t love because they thought that majoring in the subject they truly wanted would make them not love it anymore. Addison wasn’t a big fan of being told what to do, but she did it anyways. She was such an obedient person and it sucked. Addy was always afraid of the consequences if she did something wrong.
Addy nodded her head. She liked sweet tasting things, but she hadn’t had any of the drinks that he was speaking of, so she wasn’t exactly sure. “I’ve never really had any alcoholic drinks to try, so I’m not sure what I’d like. I like sweet tasting things though, so I would imagine that I would like sweet tasting alcoholic beverages.” Addison said with a small shrug of her shoulder. Addison rolled her eyes at Nate’s statement, of course the college student would use her argument against her. “I just really wanted to get away from life and I decided to do something that was different than I would normally do. So, I guess you could say I went out on a whim.” Addy explained.

"When you are me with my problems there are not many things that would calm me down any more as I have tried the worse things people can think of, in the end drawing is the only thing that calms me down that does not involve hurting myself or anyone else" Nate said with a slight shrug as it was the truth drawing does calm him down when he is in a mood, but if he didn't do it then he would slip back into his old habits of fighting and rebelling against his parents. But Nate did have to wonder if he should change the subject he is majoring in. He laid back on his back and stared up at the sky as he thought about what other subjects he could major in, even though welsh is his first language he didn't like speaking it at all. He only barely passed GCSE English so that is out of the question, Maths he did good in where his teacher had high hopes for him but his life had spiraled out of control so maybe he could redo his Maths to improve his grades as he had gotten a high C when he could of gotten at least a low A.
"The problem with drinking wine is people don't really taste the alcohol in it so they don't realize when they are drunk, so it is hard to be able to handle wine. Personally I would start of drinking alcohol with someone that you trust so they will stop you from going over board." Nate said as he shrugged his shoulders slightly as he knew what he was saying was right as people who start drinking alcohol will not know there limits and won't know when they are drunk so they are more likely to go over board than someone who has been drinking for a while. Nate turned to Addison and saw the she rolled her eyes at what Nate had just said "But that s the problem Addison as once you get away from life you will start to realize the things that are important to you and to start to see what you really miss. During my trouble years I realized the things I missed the most are my family" Nate said as he did miss his family the most while he was in jail and he had realized just how much trouble he was for them.

“Drinking wine sounds like eating chocolate. It just tastes so good that you don’t realize how much you’ve had until it’s too late!” Addison said. Now she really wanted some chocolate. “I guess that makes sense.” Usually people her age just went to a party and that’s where they had their first taste of alcohol. It never mattered if there was someone at the party that they trusted, they just drank. What Nate said about having someone trustworthy present made sense though. “I’ll have to remember to do that.” She knew that she’d feel safer if someone she knew was there with her when she had some alcohol in her system.
Why did what Nate said have to make so much sense? Addison wanted something that supported her side, but it seemed like everything she got out of Nate was against her. “But if I don’t go I won’t know what I’m missing.” Addison said. She knew that when she did go to college that she would miss her parents, but she didn’t know how much she’d miss them. Lately her parents were gone a lot of the time because of work and Addison was on her own. She didn’t mind though, she liked the quietness that it allowed her to have at home.
