[-aura-]
Humming softly to herself, a teenage girl walked with a purpose towards the big 'Starbucks' sign. The girl with the golden locks usually turned heads when she came to town. Not because she was exceedingly good-looking - she wasn't really; just pretty - but because she rarely ventured into the people-filled streets of town. As usual, her pretty blond hair was mussed from the constant wind that toyed lovingly in their depths. Her light brown eyes were bright with the excitement of the outdoors. Oh, how she loved nature. Every bit of her screamed 'outdoorsy.' She was constantly out-of-doors. She hated the awful suffocation of a closed in room. And she enjoyed solitude, which was reason enough for her to avoid the gossip-filled streets that inhabited the little town she had grown up in.
The seventeen-year-old called Aura entered the little coffee shop, and was instantly enveloped in the best scent in the world. The small of freshly brewed coffee.
Ahhh.
Resisting the urge to inhale deeply, she continued towards the little ordering station.
Dammit.
She sighed as she stared at the five-person line, and took her place behind some middle-aged woman balancing a three-year old kid, who, by the sound of things, was hell-bent on making his mother's life miserable.
A small smile played on the girl's face as the little boy burst into tears. Oh, the joys of being a child.
Aura was obviously confident. And she was right to be. Her pretty, heart-shaped face was framed perfectly by her golden blond locks, and was never in need to make-up. She never really wore any, unless it was a special occasion. She dressed simply, but it screamed 'originality.' Today, she wore a cute pair of flowery jean shorts that ended about mid-thigh, a lightweight, slightly over-sized white tee, and a pair of dark grey espadrilles. Also, she sported a simple little gold charm necklace and a pair of aviators, which rested on her little nose.
Almost there.
One person was left in front of her. One person blocked her from the most amazing stuff her taste-buds could have..
