For some unknown reason he decided to go into the gift shop. He really needed a life and maybe even a second job. He found he had way too much time on his hands this summer and it drove him crazy. He was tempted to get a post card and send it to his parents but he had no idea where they were right now. That was what sucked about his life never knowing where his parents were and more importantly they didn’t want him to know where they were.
He walked around the store hoping to at least see somebody he knew. No such lucky unfortunately. They were probably spending time getting harassed by their parents he honestly wished he had that. He decided he would be the adult in the situation and write a postcard to his parents and the next time they came down to see him he would give them his postcard. Or if he had forgotten to give it to them he would try and figure out where they were and just send it to them.
He was so wrapped up in his thoughts he wasn’t even paying attention to what he was doing and bumped into somebody “ Oh my bad sorry” He told the person.

It was close to the twins' birthday and she needed to get the little girls something, okay, not so little any longer of course. Lily and Victoria were going to be turning thirteen and it scared Mimi thinking of them being teenagers. She thought of how she got her heart broken at age fifteen and hoped that they wouldn't have to go through the same thing when they got to be that age. She also hoped that being here instead of Pau, that they would keep out of trouble. Lily was kind of like Mimi in a way; quiet, nice, sweet. Victoria was very loud and outgoing. She had many friends, even as soon as they came here, she had immedietally made friends with lots of different kids from her school. She shivered walking into the gift store imagining her at parties. She wished to not think of all that.
She got that right out of her mind. She was thankfull that Missy, the "baby" of the family was still six and innocent. She went to first grade everyday and Mimi would drop her off. She was getting to be big as well and Mimi felt old about it. She was the oldest of the family, which meant more responsibility than she had asked for. She sighed as she walked into the gift store and thought about her mother and how much she had missed her. Her father was always so busy with his job and trying to make sure the four girls had things they needed, and things they wanted, that he barely had time to spend with them. Sad life bro. So, consequently, Mimi acted as the mother and father for them all. She didn't mind; she liked caring for her younger siblings.
She walked around, trying to find a gift that the twins would like. She saw something colorful and shiny and picked it up to look at it more close. But, she almost dropped it, but ninja caught it so it would break from the impact of the floor. The person said sorry though, so it was okay with her of course. She was a forgiving soul. "It's okay," she said in her thick French accent, "The little figurine is still in one piece." She looked at the figurine and saw that it was a little piano. It actually was quite heavy for a little figurine. She looked at the bottm of it and discovered that it was a music box. She twisted the thing and it began to play Fur Elise, the most overplayed piano song in the world. She thought about it heavily if the twins would be alright with it. "Hey, if you had a twin, would you be able to share a music box with him or her?" she asked the guy. She didn't know him, but maybe he could have a brilliant insight to what she should do.

Riley smiled and exhaled a sigh of relief when she said she hadn’t dropped it. She would definitely have to buy it then regardless if she had originally wanted it. A lot of store owners really didn’t like it when you dropped stuff in their store. And this girl would have to buy this item regardless if she had decided on wanting it or not. Riley tilted his head to the side as she was talking to him.
It’s not that he had issues understanding her it’s just that he was trying to figure out her accent. His gut was telling him she was French but he also liked to argue with his gut it amused him a lot more then he wanted to admit. If I had a twin would I like sharing a music box with them he thought to himself. “ Honestly I would love a music box but I’m not sure if my twin would like it” He said biting his bottom lip them he remembered something. “ Wait how old am I if I were a twin?” He asked her since this made his decision different. It also depended on whether his twin was a girl or not.
Since if his twin was a brother and straight he probably wouldn’t like sharing a music box. But if his brother was gay he might like sharing the music box. And if it was a girl she would probably love sharing with him because he was a great sharer.

She noticed the boy smiled when she didn't drop the item. She was happy too because she would have to pay for it either way. And who knows, maybe she wouldn't end up buying it anyways. However, both her sisters liked the piano and played it, she had gave them both minor lessons when it was out of sheer boredom of course. However, Lily rather enjoyed it of course. She hated picking favorites, but Lily was for sure her favorite. She was so sweet and quiet.Victoria and Missy were cool as well, but they were so loud. She often ended up with headaches watching the three of them at once. Sometimes is would just be Missy or one of the twins, more likely Lily. Victoria was always off with her friends. She enjoyed that her sister had a social life and all, but family time was nice as well.
The boy said that he would love a music box, but wasn't sure if his twin would. And then asked how old was he if he was a twin. She smiled, "It's for your thirteenth birthday. You two are total opposites basically, but both play the piano." Maybe giving a little bit of background, it would help him decide. However, after looking at the small, colorful music box shaped like a piano, she decided that it would be wise to get two. "Ya know what, I'm just gonna get another music box." She turned around back at the shelf and looked around for another one. There were a lot of different music boxes in different, colorful shapes but she didn't know which one to pick.
She would for sure give the piano one to Lily, but what to give to Victoria, she had no idea. She made a 'hmmm' noise and placed her hand on her cheek deciding what to do. "Okay, new scenerio. You are a twelve-year-old girl going on thirteen. You are very social and very interested in dance and music. What would you want to open up for your introduction into your teenage life?" She stood on her tip toes, trying to see above the shelves she couldn't on her feet. Why was shopping so difficult?

Riley rubbed his chin as he thought about this. These scenarios were a lot harder than they should be. “ Honestly that is a very hard question” He said with a laugh. “ Maybe some sort of dance instruction video, you know like how to do it kind of stuff” He told her shrugging his shoulders. “ Or maybe even those dance dance revolution type of games” He told her biting his bottom lip.
Riley pouted “ Sorry I’m not so good when it comes to giving people presents that I’ve never met” He told her honestly. If this were getting a present for Addison it would be easy since he would most likely be getting her a book or something that was really amusing like some sort of gag gift that if anybody else got her she would hate, but since it came from him she would still hate it but pretend to love it. “ I think whatever you get them they will love” He said trying to get her to stop asking him things that he had no answers to. “ So anyway I’m Riley” He told the girl with a smile.
