Elizabeth let out a breath of her jitters that she was worried the slight lie wouldn't work. She smiled and placed both her hands on her hips and put most of the pressure on her left leg cocking her hip a little "Well it's a pleasure Jake, I'm Elizabeth." she said before turning to watch the last of the sun set over the water and she smiled. The silence was nice between these two acquaintances, this party hadn't turned out to bad after all.
'So....' the words from Jake filled the air with possibilities, but one step at a time would do just fine with Liz, even if there was plenty of alcohol in her system it wasn't enough to make her a blundering idiot. His vocals played again behind her and she nodded not taking her eyes off the slight waves in front of her "It is a beautiful night out, we couldn't have planned the party better." she said as her eyes traveled up from the water to the stars that were beginning to poke through the sky.
She then turned around and let out a mesmerizing smile to Jake, "The sights infront of me aren't to bad either." she said with a smirk as she crossed her arms over her chest the cool air tickling her bare skin exposed from her bikini top and shorts.

Jake watched as the woman before him relax a bit and return an introduction. "Elizabeth, huh. That's a nice name," he said, watching her turn around to face the last glow of orange disappear over the western rim of the horizon. A palpable silence hung comfortably between them, despite the crash of the waves and the hum of inaudible speech behind them. Jake smiled, thinking that maneuvering in a party wasn't going to be bad at all. In fact, it was potentially relaxing.
When Elizabeth responded to his observation without turning around, Jake could only nod, even though he knew that she wouldn't see it. The night had finally begun to settle in and the water started to shimmer with the reflection of various lights, both from the edge of the beach and from the glittering stars above. A gentle summer breeze swam by, completing this pristine picture and widening the present smile on Jake's face.
Jake watched as Elizabeth turned around, speaking again. He then looked around and behind quickly before pointing at himself. "Is that… you're complimenting me?" he gave her a puzzled and embarrassed look as he scratched his cheek gently with his finger. He didn't get compliments too often and this made his face redden a bit. Hopefully, she wouldn't see it due to the cloak of the night. "Well, you're rather stunning yourself…" he replied, half-murmuring, trying to conceal his embarrassment. Indeed, her figure was rather pleasing to his eyes, accompanied by the revealing clothing. There wasn't really any other way to describe it.

A small giggle escaped her lips when he was stunned that she was complimenting him. "How could anyone not compliment you?" she said with a smile. At his compliment a blush crept over her cheek bones and her gaze dropped to the sand. "Thank You." she barely let out a whisper.
She could tell that this was a sincere compliment, not one that a guy threw out to get a girl in his bed, which Elizabeth had fallen for many times when she was completely wasted at the bar lounge.
She let out a small smile when she lifted her eyes and looked at Jakes shadowed face. "Wanna take a walk?" she asked with a calm smile as the small wars lapped at her feet.
