James saw flyers all over town for some beach party tonight. He had tried to convince his friends to come with him but none were intersted. So he decided to make an appearence then later take off if he was bored. He was mostly going in hopes of seeing Addison tonight. He walked to the beach with his large coulor.
He had no intentions of getting drunk. He had three beers but he knew that other people might want to keep their stuff cold. Once he arrived at the beach he saw Addison standing there. James came into view of the people. He only knew Riley and Addison.
" Addison how are you?" He asked her with a smile. Wondering what her reaction to him showing up would be.

Addison shrugged, knowing that Riley was right about the party being better than if she tried to throw one. She didn't know the first thing about throwing a party, with her luck she would try and no one would show up. At least with Riley he knew how to have fun and most people knew that.
As Riley introduced her to the other girl, Addison smiled shyly and said, "Nice to meet you." She might not have shown it, but Addy was extremely grateful for Riley's introductions. Not too long after being introduced, another girl came along and Riley introduced her once again. The knew girl seemed nice enough and she had a cool southern accent, something that is kind of a novelty to those who grew up in the New England area and didn't travel much.
Soon after the arrival of Karson, another girl showed up, Sophie. Being surrounded by the girls and Riley, Addison felt out of her element. All the girls had more confidence than she did and it just made her feel like she didn't belong. Wandering a little ways away from the group, Addison stared out at the black water that only showed a reflection of a moon.
Hearing her name, Addison whirled around and smiled when she saw James. She hadn't expected him to show up, but she was glad that he did. "Hi James," She said softly. "I'm good, how are you?" She asked, walking closer to where he stood.

James smiled as he walked closer towards her he hadn't seen her in awhile but was excited none the less. He just hoped there would be no drama here tonight. It seemed like there was a lot of girls here and few guys. Normally that would be his ideal party but not when he was trying to impress Addison. Tonight was the night he was going to ask her to be his officall girlfriend.
It would work perfectly then he could also get Riley's approval at the same time. " Just been missing you" He told her truthfully and smiled at her " You look amazing" He told her.

Addison smiled when James said that he had missed her. No guy had ever said that to her and it felt nice knowing that she was missed. “Thank you, you don’t look to bad yourself.” Addison said, blushing when James commented on her appearance. “So what’s in the cooler?” Addy asked. She had an idea as to what it was, but it wouldn’t be right to judge James without knowing for sure.
Looking at the water, Addison walked closer and slipped her sandals off her feet before wading in up to her ankles. Despite it being night time, the water was still kind of warm. Glancing back to where James stood, Addison smiled. She didn’t know how she became lucky enough to attract the attention of James, but she was happy she did.
Leaving the water, Addison grabbed her sandals and walked back up to where James was. With each step her feet got sandier and sandier, but she didn’t mind. Addison liked the feel of the sand on her feet.

James smiled " Just three beers, the rest of the coulor is so other peoples booze dosen't get warm" He told her with a shrug of her shoulders. James looked at her with a nervous smile " I feel so nervous to be here with you and Riley" He told her truthfully. Who knows how Riley would react to him. Espically when he found out they liked each other.

Addison nodded when James told her what was in the cooler. She was glad that it wasn’t filled to the brim with drinks, it showed her that he wasn’t one of those guys. “You shouldn’t feel nervous about Riley, he’s harmless. Just make sure that you make yourself as unappealing as possible so that he doesn’t try to come on to you. He enjoys the hunt.” Addison said, explaining what Riley was like. She didn’t see Riley reacting badly to James, but he had probably heard about his reputations which would work against them.
Walking to the cooler that James brought, Addison lifted the lid and grabbed one of the beers. “Maybe this will help you calm your nerves.” Addy said, as she handed the can to him. She knew that some people would become more relaxed when they had alcohol in their system and maybe it would help James. Then again, some people became really nasty when under the influence of alcohol and Addison hoped that James would not be like that. That would really screw up his impression on Riley.

James gave a little frown that's defenitly not the impression he wanted on Riley. He had nothing against gay men but when they started coming onto him then he had problems. James sighed when she handed him a beer and took it and opened it " I don't actually drink much" He told her truthfully and took a drink. James looked around " Wow there's lots of women here" He said actually impressed.
It was hard to get girls to come out and party.

Addy shrugged. Everybody needed to loosen up and have a drink every once in a while. “I don’t really drink either, but a beer won’t hurt you.” Addison said. She assumed that James could hold his alcohol pretty well and wouldn’t get drunk off of one beer, but for all she knew he could be a lightweight. She knew that she was somewhat of a lightweight and always kept water with her so that she could stay sober longer.
Taking a look around the beach, Addison nodded her head in agreement. There were a lot of girls present and aside from James, Riley was the only other guy. “You’ll probably be really popular tonight since guys seem to be the minority here.” She said while thinking it over. Even though she wasn’t actually James’ girlfriend, Addison wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of the other girls coming onto James. She knew that she would be jealous and would want to say something, but it’s not like she had any claim on him or anything.

James smiled " Well I hope it won't hurt me" He told her truthfully. He didn't like getting drunk since he hated hangovers so he tried to avoid it as much as possible. James shook his head " I hope not I'd enjoy talking to them but wouldn't do anything with them" He told her truthfully. There was only one girl he wanted to be with and that was Addison. He hoped that Rose chick wouldn't show up she would cause problems for everybody.
Mostly him though of course. The last thing he wanted to do was make Addison jealous.

Riley noticed that James guy come to the party and walk right over to Addison. He had never seen him ever interact with her. If he went over to her just to be a bully Riley would hurt him. Riley walked over to them " Hey Addison is this guy harassing you?" He asked her with his arms crossed over his chest prepared to fight him. There was no way Riley was going to allow Addison to be bullied by some popular guy.
Or worse let her be used so he could sleep with her. Both of those were not going to be good in his mind.

Addison smiled back at James and nodded her head. She didn’t want James to get drunk because then she wouldn’t have anyone to talk to other than Riley. She loved Riley to bits, but having someone else to talk to was new to her and she didn’t want to lose that. She was starting to like having someone else besides Riley to hang out with and talk to. Addison smiled again when James said that he wouldn’t do anything with the other girls, that made her extremely happy. Even though they weren’t together, Addison didn’t want to share James with another girl.
Addy saw Riley walking in her direction and was ready to greet him, but he beat her to it. “Why would he be harassing me?” Addison asked, frowning at Riley’s question. Looking Riley over, Addison saw how he was standing, he was ready to fight. “This is James, we met at the beach a few days ago.” She said, “And James, this is Riley.” Addy said, introducing the two guys.

Riley laughed " Ironic eh we've gone to high-school with him for years and you just met him a few days ago" Riley told her. He had to admit James was good looking and that's what made him scared. Generally good looking guys only wanted one thing and they were jerks when they got it or even didn't. " Ill be watching you James" He said and walked back to the rest of his guests.

Jake had been out wandering when he ran across a flyer. It was a notice for a party that night and while Jake didn't enjoy drinking that much, he decided that he would go. After all, he didn't have anything to do that night and it would be a good chance to meet new people. Before the night settled, he went home and took a shower, threw on a shirt and pulled on some jeans. It wasn't like he had to be extremely well-groomed for a beach party, but it was nice to shower anyways.
When Jake finally got to the beach, he could see several people already congregated there. Most of them were girls, but a couple of guys also dotted the crowd. As he approached, Jake could see that some of them looked like high schoolers. He wasn't really sure how legal it was for them to be drinking, but since they all seemed fine doing so, he decided not to say anything. "So who's throwing the party here?" he said, grinning as he walked onto the beach.

Her long legs kept her upright and she was deciding that the alcohol in her system wasn't deterring her senses that much. She had drank a quarter of a bottle of whiskey and was calling it quotes. She nodded to Addison, Riley and a new guy they were talking to before she stood up and walked to the oceans edge. She looked up hearing a new males voice ask who was throwing this party. She knew that Riley would get in trouble so she walked over "Uhhh, I am. "
She sorta stumbled with the words mostly out of nervousness than anything. She twirled her hair around her finger and bit her lower lip, she always seemed to do this when she was nervous. "Is there a problem?" she asked lightly as she looked back up to the new male that had arrived.

The sounds of the waves echoed in Jake's ears in between the buzz of chatter going on around him. Hearing someone respond to his query, he smiled and walked up the woman. While she seemed a bit fidgety, she certainly was beautiful. "No problem at all, that's what." he grinned. "I'm Jake, nice to meet'cha!" he said, introducing himself. It seemed like the night was getting off to a good start and he didn't want to pass up the chance to enjoy himself.
Jake looked at the other people around and wondered how many of them actually knew each other. So far, every one of them seemed like a stranger, but he was sure that they'd all warm up eventually. But before then, he felt kind of lost and unsure of what to do. He didn't party much usually and when he went, it was usually because his friends brought him along. In a situation like this, he was kind of lost. "So..." he started speaking to the woman in front of him. "Nice night out, isn't it?"
